These are photos from 2013 when the Buchanan County Historical Society visited the Red Jacket Mine entrance at Oakwood, Virginia.
Our goal is to raise funds to erect a monument in honor of the 45 men who lost their lives in a devastating explosion on April 22nd, 1938.
